Moonlander from Surly Bikes

On the subject of bikes I can’t justify buying, here’s the Moonlander. Would suit someone who needs to cross a marsh on the way to work each morning.

Oxford people might be interested to know they have one on display in Bike Zone on St Michaels Street, so you can see for yourself the wonder that is their ‘space black’ frame paint.

Genesis Fortitude Adventure

Can’t remember if I have linked to this bike before, but I still like it (though it is too expensive to justify for my little commute). It’s a 29er but without suspension forks, so it ides not need an S-shaped down-tube: a frame made from all straight lines is my approved look for a bicycle. Hub gears because I like gears and derailers are messy. Braze-ons for mudguards, rack etc. for people who want a rufty-tufty tourer rather than a low-tech mountain biker.
